Doing the Dew, Old School Style

I’ve been interested in running an operating system purely off of RAM, creating a drive from the RAM and attempting small gaming on that, but the downside was that as soon as you turned off the machine, everything was gone, and you would have to reinstall when you wanted to play again.
Now apparently there is a RAM hard drive created for this type of thing. When you power it down, it actually takes everything in the RAM and stores it so that you can access it again when you power back up. The awesome thing about this is the read/write rates that you will get when working entirely with RAM. This is one of the cooler things I have seen lately.
