It is day 1 of Winter-een-mas, a holiday that celebrates games, and the people who play them. I plan to celebrate tonight by playing some Halo 2 on Xbox Live for some total beatdown awesomeness. Booyah for Halo 2! I’d throw down with some Halo 1 on Xbox Connect, by I loaned it to a friend of mine, He’s only like 7, but he loves Halo! Booyah!

The holiday for gamers, Winter-een-mas starts tomorrow! It is a week-long event that every gamer should observe, and celebrate by playing your favorite, and some classic games, and appreciate all that gaming is. Get more information, or celebrate at the official website!

So I took today off from work and took a tour of the school that I plan on attending in Fall, the Colorado Film School (Part of the Community College of Aurora). I know it’s early, but I want to get this all sorted out now, and not have to worry as much when it comes closer (I always put things off until the last minute). These next few months I’ll be applying for scholarships, loans, etc, which really sucks, but necessary.

What I’ll probably end up doing is going for the Associate of General Studies, so that after 2 years at the CC, I’ll transfer to University of Colorado at Denver, and getting a bachelor’s degree in film, etc. I’ll probably be getting an apartment in Denver so I won’t have to drive up every day. I’m thinking I’ll start living up there in July, a month before school starts, that way I can get a job, and sort of settle in. I timed the trip today, and it takes exactly an hour to get down to the Springs to my church, if I drive the speed limit (but who drives the speed limit?). So that won’t be a big deal at all (I already drive half an hour every Sunday).

So anyways, booyah.

I got the new expansion to World of Warcraft, The Burning Crusade a few days back. I haven’t had a chance to play much of any of it yet though. I did make a quick Blood Elf character, a priest. They have nice racial benefits for priests. I will not make a paladin though. I believe that the paladins are a disgrace to the Horde. They are complete cowards, and it was a sad day that the Horde received paladins.

But anyways, the reason that I’m posting is that I’ve got free trial accounts available if you have not yet tried World of Warcraft out. Just let me know in the comments if you want a trial key, and I’ll email one to you. After that, you just download the WoW client from their site, and use your trial key, and you get a full 10 free days of play time to check WoW out.

Oh man. If you have not seen or heard anything about the new game, Lost Planet, you are missing out. The commercials for this thing are awesome by themselves, but when you actually play the game, wow, it’s great. I don’t really play that many games on the Xbox 360, more of just a few, a lot, and really good. My main games are Halo 2 and Gears of War. I believe I will be adding Lost Planet to my most played games. Check out their website, check out the previews, and hop on your Xbox 360 and download the demo.
