I just read a good article on how to confront a crazed gunman. Friends and I have been discussing how nobody managed to stop the gunman at Virginia Tech. People need to realize that yes, you may die trying to stop a gunman, but if you’re probably going to die anyways, you should at least try to take the guy out. It’s not that hard to take a gunman out, especially when he’s in a small space like classrooms, and there are a lot of people. Please read the article. Be prepared to sacrifice your life if something like that happens, so that others are saved. Don’t think, just do it.

An what makes it even harder for me to understand why nobody managed to stop him is that he had to reload his guns multiple times. The 9mm he had could have had a 15-17 round magazine, and the .22 a 10 round. He hit almost everybody with about 3 rounds, so he had to reload. Come on!
