The school I am going to in August uses all Mac’s for the video editing. I figure since I’ll be using them at school, I might as well start getting used to them. I know Macs are little powerhouses. I don’t really know what kind I will be getting though.

The One thing that lets me get a Mac is that you can use Bootcamp to also run Windows. That way I can play all of my games, while still using the Mac. I am really thinking about getting a laptop (macbook?). I plan to play Eve Online, some war games like Joint Ops and BF2142. As for video stuff, I figure I’ll be using it for homework for all the video editing we’ll be doing normally, and also using it for my church’s weekly DVD’s. Nothing too fancy. I was going to get a desktop, but I think I’d rather have the mobility available

So you, reading this right now, which one should I get? Macbook or Macbook pro? Which version of those… I don’t want to spend too much (because I’ll have to be borrowing the money for the computer), but I don’t want something that won’t run what I need it for. Which one do I buy?

I was over at a friend’s house for Easter today. We were talking about all the crazy memories we had and made from when we were a kid. Where we lived, there was nothing to do, so we have to make things up. Whether it was building things, getting lost in the forest, poisoning squirrels with anti freeze, we were bad kids, but it was fun. We had great times back then. I hope the next 20 or so years are as memorable.

Ok, back in January I decided that I was going to the Colorado Film School to prepare for a career in broadcast TV. I was excited. I still am excited. But seriously, time is getting old now. Still 4 more months until it starts. I don’t want to wait. I don’t want to keep working on computers and websites for 4 more months. I want to get this thing started!

I still haven’t decided for sure when I’m going to move up there. I’ve been wanting to get a job at Chipotle, if only for the free burritos. I’ll probably end up working sales or support somewhere, which is OK because I’m pretty good at both. I’ll have to see. Class registration starts in June… Maybe I’ll move up there July.. Maybe June… Just not sure right now.

I’ve been playing a lot of Battlefield 2142 lately, and apparently I’m pretty good. I keep getting in the top 5-10 rankings (on a 64 player server). I am always either a medic or an engineer. Engineer in the first parts of some maps to set some mines, and then a medic (or Assault, as they call it) for the rest of the game. My revive scores are insane. I revive everybody, I seem to be at every point on the map where somebody dies. The blue X calls out to me. Here’s my player profile.

Our Easter program is over! It was awesome, quite a few people showed up. And I’m so glad it’s over because the stress from that is GONE!. Sure I’ll still have work stress (which sucks, because I get paid crap for what I deal with, and work on), but it won’t be as worse as what I was having, with the program and website launch at the same time. I actually got sick on Saturday, cold/flu or something, but I was able to feed it pills and it didn’t keep me from doing my job on Sunday.
