The Colorado Rockies have dominated so far in the post season. Sweeping the Phillies for the division championship, and now 2 games against the Diamondbacks. They were walked in for the lead in the 11th! They then proceeded to rock the Diamondbacks in the bottom of the 11th for another great win. By winning this game they are the first team since the 1976 Cincinnati Red’s to start their post season at 5-0. Rockies all the way to the World Series! Booyah!

Well Ubuntu really didn’t feel like installing. It would start the installer and give me tons of errors, so I guess I am not installing it. But at least I was able to dump Vista and put XP on the laptop. Even if it took me an hour to find all of the HP drivers for XP. Stupid HP.

In other news. Pie.

I am dumping Windows Vista starting tomorrow. It is just giving me too much crap, and doesn’t work with so many programs that I need that I see no real reason to keep it. Starting tomorrow I am going to install XP, and dual boot with Ubuntu on it. I don’t go completely to Ubuntu just because I have so many Windows programs I need. Specifically the Adobe Suite. But I will try to spend a lot of time in Ubuntu. This will be the first real time I will be using it heavily in a desktop environment. I’ve only dabbled with it in the past.

I’m really frustrated with everything right now. First off with having the flu I just haven’t had enough time to finish anything. Work, school, personal stuff, I am so behind right now. I have mid-terms this week, 2 big projects due this week, and I just haven’t been able to get anything done.

I am not satisfied with the Dew Knight Action Movie. It just seems to suck. Sure, it’s funny. I and others laughed through it, but I didn’t get the shots I needed, I haven’t had the time to do any sound effects. It’s just not coming together, and it’s due tomorrow. I’m just going to give up on it and turn it in as it is. I really need to get some sleep instead of working on it, or I won’t even make it to school tomorrow.

A 15-member UN Security Council met in New York to debate a resolution condemning Burma’s “violent repression of peaceful demonstrations” while calling for a halt to the regime’s heavy-handed measures.

Is the UN ever going to learn that “condemning” actions of a country is not going to make them stop? Seriously, words won’t do it for the people in charge of Burma. It’s never worked in the past, and it’s still not going to work. And your “peace keepers” won’t do anything either.

They’re shooting journalists in the face, and killing monks. Our UN is in New York debating back and forth like a bunch of cowardly french on whether or not we should disagree openly with what they are doing.

I absolutely hate the freaking UN.
