Wohoo! A new Tim Burton movie starring Johnny Depp! Tim Burton has been one if my favorite filmmakers, and when he teams up with Johnny Depp, it really just makes the whole movie awesome. He really knows how to write for Johnny Depp. There is tons of info on the visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site about this new movie.

I was trying to think of my favorite Johnny Depp movie moment, and I had a hard time picking. Most of what he does I love, but I need I have it narrowed down to a couple of the greatest moments that I remember. I am sure I am missing so many great ones though!

I think the ending of Edward Scissorhands might be my favorite. I really liked the whole movie, but the ending was just a sad part. It really just seemed to be so well written and flowed together so well. And them never being able to see each other again, but her holding on that he is still alive, and he is the reason the snow falls, is really just a perfect ending for that movie.

Finding Neverland was an excellent movie, and I think the scene where Johhny Depp and the kid are playing indians is funny. When Johnny gets “shot” and he says “You Go, spread wings and soar like eagle,” then the kid says “That’s crazy, indians can’t fly,” and Johnny perfectly says “Of course they can, go on.” He is a great actor throughout the whole movie. I think I really would choose Finding Neverland over Edward Scissorhands right now, though I haven’t seen either in a while now.

Sleepy Hollow is also one of my favorites. Just each one of their movies are usually so great! And now they’re making a new movie! Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. It’s based on the Broadway Musical, about the legend of the 19th century Sweeney Todd a.k.a. Benjamin Baker returning to London after being sent away by a Judge with the help of a sailor. He opens a barber shop above Mrs. Lovett’s Meat Pie Shop. With her help,Todd tries to rid of all the people who have ever done him wrong and hopes to be reunited with his daughter, Joanna.

Check out the movie site. You can also visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace. I have also embedded the trailer from YouTube below! This is going to be a great movie! I can’t wit until it comes out on December 21.
