Doing the Dew, Old School Style
We just finished editing Cooking With Ninjas Episode 1 - Ninja Sandwich. Check it out on YouTube below and learn how to make the ultimate ninja sandwich !
You can download the higher quality MPG file here: 153 MB. You can watch at Revver if you are having problems with YouTube.
This was the second project for editing class at Pikes Peak Community College. We were originally going to do a Cuban Sandwich, but I didn’t feel like cooking the pork. The sandwich cost about $30 and fed 4 people. It was delicious. We actually lost a light halfway through filming, but still just had a lot of fun making this video. Thanks for watching it, and Digg it if you can! Thanks to Ninja Burger for the logo!
So I have this research paper due at 10 AM. I haven’t started on it. I know my topic (IPTV), I have my sources (two magazines and wikipedia), but I just never really started it, other than the basic ideas. I’ve pretty much accepted that I am going to turn it in late. My excuse to myself: I have been too busy. This is halfway true. I am sure if I spent some time working on it I would have had it halfway completed by now from how busy I was. This just means during my days off this week when I’m not eating food drowning in gravy, I really need to work on the paper.
I also have to put together a few songs for a 3 min still TV production today. I plan on doing that between classes. I hope I can get it done.
In my opinion, Star Wars Galaxies was the greatest MMO that was ever made. You had an awesome economy, awesome skill system, choose your path, customize your character and change it in any way you wanted at any time. And all this set in the Star Wars universe. That is, until they screwed it all up with the Combat Upgrade (CU) and New Game Enhancement (NGE).
I think about a year ago I remember trying an emulation that people were putting together that would be Star Wars Galaxies back when it was awesome. There wasn’t much you could do so I left. It was exciting that they were making it, but nothing really worked. I just checked their site again today and it looks like they are pretty far along. I’m redownloading everything again so I can start helping them test and get it done ASAP. I can’t wait til they finish it, there is just so much I want to do again in SWG.
If I ever won the lottery, I think I would give a large amount of money to the people making SWGEmu so they could quit their jobs and finish the project. that is how bad I wish to play it again.
This is one of the funnier Ask a ninja episodes I have seen. Just absolute laughter throughout the video. Watch it now, the ninja commands you!
Blowtorch Entertainment is a new film studio that wants to make stuff like Napoleon Dynamite. They want to make hit films that are big with the college crowd. Inside jokes and the like. They do something really cool at the beginning of their films: They show a few short films created by average people. Everybody votes on those films and the top one is chosen. The creator is flown to their studio to watch and help in creating a the real thing all professional like.
The current contest is to create a short with the theme being anything at all related to “TECHNOLOGY.” Internet dating, killer robot vacuums, used time machine salesmen…whatever. The deadline is December 27, 2007.
I’ll be bringing this information to my editing class, and will hopefully be making something to submit for myself. They say it doesn’t have to be very well put together, but I think the better it looks, the more people will vote for it. I also would want to use it to post on Broken Fork as well.
I’m upgrading, rearranging things, adding plugins, and messing with themes right now. Please bear with me while I make these changes.
Edit: Ok, changes have been made. I think I will stick with this theme for a while.
I added a few plugins as well:
