I saw a weird calendar on the net just now. I certainly know a few people who would get this, myself included. But after looking at the price, and really thinking about it for a second it would be more work and not worth it. It was a good idea, but a tricky idea that makes you think! They’re getting more clever thee days trying to make you think, and I for one won’t stand for it! Give me my good ol computer calendar with scheduling and most importantly, automatic days! Booyah!

I am considering taking out the whole first part of the You Stole My Dew movie. It just isn’t done very well and the story could really work without it. that would mean we don’t really need one of the extra shots we were going to do (I still like the idea of the shot after the credits as was discussed with weazak). Dropping the first part would make the video 1:25 shorter and wouldn’t cause people to click away after starting to watch it. Plus, I am just still really proud of the second part.

I also changed some of the categories on here. I looked through my tags for the most popular ones and created new categories based on those. Makes it easier to find stuff woohoo!

I am also going to learn how to do Flash again. Mostly for Robotic Fetal Warriors, but also because I have a few other video ideas, and I really like to be able to do it in flash instead of real life, because everything can go wrong on a video shoot.

This video was made for a video editing class for PPCC. Yes, I know there are flaws, but this was a video to make mistakes and learn from this mistakes.

Finally! Finally I have installed Ubuntu along side XP on my laptop. I’ve been wanting to do this forever, and just run into so many problems. First I was stupid and didn’t download the amd64 version, then I just kept having nonstop errors during the startup of the live cd.

Finally I took the time to sit down, read about some common problems on HP laptops, and installed Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn (7.10 doesn’t work too well with HP’s). I had to add a couple of options to the startup, and then it installed was all working OK. Had a minor problem when resizing my partitions, but I’ve got Ubuntu up and running now along with a few of the programs I either need or have wanted to try out. I am happy, and really really hoping that this will work with the projector we use.

See, I downgraded from Vista to XP (HP does not provide many XP drivers) because Vista sucked so much. Since then I haven’t been able to use my Svideo out port for anything. I am hoping that Ubuntu will be awesome enough since I have installed all the display drivers that it will work, and I can just use Open Office Presenter. I would be oh so very happy with Ubuntu if it did.

And that was my sleepless night. Now to continue on throughout the day with unfinished projects and tons of caffeine.

I don’t know what I’m doing.

I’m not sleeping tonight. Too many things to go through. I’ve canceled my saturday hours, and put the friday hours up for trade. This week has just been weird, I don’t even know what to say.
