I watched Balls of Fury yesterday after going about 27 hours without any sleep (just for fun). I actually thought it was pretty funny. No I don’t know if it’s because of the lack of sleep that I was laughing, or because it’s my type of comedy. I laughed quite a bit even before Christopher Walken showed up. And I absolutely loved the Christopher Walken character (well, I love any character Christopher Walken does).

So I would probably give the movie maybe a 6.5/10. I thought it was pretty funny. It wasn’t the greatest, but I did laugh a lot more than I would for some of those crappy TV shows like Tim and Eric or Saul of the Mole Men. I wish I could give those shows a negative rating.

I’m going to watch Superbad here in a little bit as well. People keep telling me it sucked, but I generally don’t trust other people’s opinions on comedy movies, because most people just don’t get a good comedy when they see one.
