I am going through right now and trying to line out what I want with Sammiching. I really wish I knew more programming stuff, I just haven’t done it in forever so I’ve forgotten almost everything. I want to do it, and get it all done fast but I know I won’t be able to.

Hopefully I can get this planned out, and then kind of get a basic structure of how the website will work. If I can do that then I can actually start coding some of the smaller things. It’s just that I have no idea where to start when planning out how the whole site will work.

If you know PHP or Ruby and want to help, it would be awesome. Sammiching is a website where you share sandwiches that you make or buy. It’s gonna be awesome.

I’ve been using a couple of awesome sites to convert videos, music, documents, and a ton of other stuff to another format without installing anything on my computer. You can even convert YouTube videos to a video file that you can download. I don’t like to install a lot of software because a lot of it is filled with spyware, and the rest may just mess your computer up.

My two favorite sites are vixy.net and Media Convert. Use vixy.net for YouTube movies and any FLV files you have stored on your computer. Media Convert will convert movies, music, documents, and pretty much anything to other formats. Both do it without having to install anything on your computer.

Somebody over at Surmunity started a new stock photo website and I really like it. Instead of the crazy price tags you see everywhere, each photo is only 99 cents. They are also royalty free, so you can use them for whatever you want: websites, desktop backgrounds, movies, etc. Head over to the stock photos website and check it out. There are quite a few great photos already.

I absolutely hate bicyclists. I just read about that guy that dug a bunch of holes in bike trails because they almost hit him a few times, and I can understand why he did it. Bicyclists are the worst people on this planet. They act all high and mighty like they are better than you on their bikes, and go wherever they feel like going regardless of what that path is actually used for.

They are getting all upset over people that walk in bike paths, like they should get out of their way just because the path “was made for bikes.” But they get all crazy when we expect them to do the same thing on the road? When the road was made for cars, and not for bikes. Oh and how about the fact that half of them don’t obey the laws when they are riding on the road? This means you need to obey traffic signals and stoplights man.

And while I’m on that, use the freakin bike path if there is one. You people that ride on the road when there is an adjacent path FOR BIKES should be shot, really. I’m sorry for this being kind of just thrown together and not making much sense, but I just really hate bicyclists, and I see too many getting angry at this guy when they are the ones that should be hated.

So it’s 2008. That’s crazy man. This year is going to be so busy. There are so many things planned and I am involved in so many projects. I am trying to actually start and/or finish all of those projects right now.

We’ve got an awesome new video series that we’re doing. It’s actually for our youth group, but we do plan on putting it online. I’ll make a post when we do actually get it online. The shooting is finished except for a 30 second segment, and I’ve pretty much edited it all together. I only have a few graphics to make and then it will be finished.
