Dew Knight

Doing the Dew, Old School Style

Archive for February, 2008

As I mentioned below, I’ve been so busy the last couple of weeks with training at my new job. I work at a new family fun place called It’z in Colorado Springs, CO. It’s really awesome. They have great food and a great game room. And it’s so much cheaper than Mr. Biggs. I can’t believe people actually go to Mr. Biggs. They’ve got to check It’z out.

Mountain Dew has definitely kept me going during the past weeks. Unfortunately they serve coke products at It’z, but at least I can chug some Dew before my shift. Seriously, without it I think I might have just died. I’m going to down a case of Mountain Dew before our grand opening tomorrow. I can only imagine how crazy this is going to be. Plus, I work in Guest Services, so all the angry people come to me. Booyah.

Well I made it a few days with consecutive posts last week but now it’s been a while since my last post. I’ve just been so busy this week with training for a new job and setting things up at the new church building that I’ve had no time for much of anything.

The grand opening at my new job is next week so I will likely be busy then, but everything should go back to normal after that. I hope.

  • As we continue our look into the future of robots ruling the world we not only have our tacos to fear for, but our Mountain Dew as well.

As we can see from this demonstration video sent back through time by the robot freedom fighters we see that robots crave Mountain Dew. This is possibly one of the first sightings of the robot uprising against mankind. We are studying this video so that we can try to prevent this robot apocalypse.

  • Mountain Dew CanI have realized that I just don’t mention Mountain Dew enough here. Being the Mountain Dew Knight you would think that I would be the expert of all things Dew. Well, I am. I just don’t write about it enough. I used be be on the first page of Yahoo for Mountain Dew searches, but not I’m like position 30. This needs to change!

I am going to dedicate more time to writing about Mountain Dew. Everything from where to get it in third world countries that don’t sell it, to how to maximize your intake of Dew. This will be the all-encompassing source for everything Mountain Dew.

My first post is on the subject of why the official Mountain Dew website sucks so much. They try too hard to make it cool and hip. Plus it’s all in flash, and flash sucks. That’s not what Mountain Dew is about. If anything, it’s about gaming. It is what fuels gamers every day across the world. Mountain Dew has the highest headshot count and k/d ratio. But Dew is much more simple than that. Dew is Dew. That’s what you need to know.

  • Improv Everywhere is a group of people that cause scenes across New York City. They’ve had some awesome missions, but they just did what I think is my favorite to date. Frozen Grand Central Station.

207 people doing random things in Grand Central Station all froze at the exact same second for 5 minutes. I think it’s just an awesome mission, I can’t think up anything else to explain it. Just watch the video:

  • Thanks IZEA!

I just got a box with IZEA schwag and my award!
    Izea Schwag

IZEA named me Postie of the Month for January 2008 during their first IZEA Loco (which was crazy and awesome), and they sent me a cool trophy thing to go with it!
    Izea Postie of the month

I want to thank IZEA for being possibly the coolest company in the world. You help me get some cash every month and keep me very entertained (More RockStartUp please!). Sometimes I fear that the cool companies will eventually die or stop being awesome, but I don’t think I have to worry about that with you guys!

Keep on being awesome Ted Murphy and the whole IZEA team! You guys inspire me!
    Thanks IZEA!
