Even though I canceled my satellite service I still get some time to watch a few shows. I am really glad the major networks put their shows online, but I wish SciFi and Bravo would do the same.
Top Chef just started back up and that’s one of my favorite shows. I don’t know what exactly makes me like it, probably just the whole general competitive cooking deal. Hells Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares are also two of my favorite shows.
Battlestar Galactica starts back up on April 4th and it couldn’t get here any sooner. If I could only watch one TV show it would be Battlestar Galactica. Check out the What the frak is going on video on the BSG website. I also love Stargate Atlantis, but haven’t watched it too much.
The Office comes back April 10th! Booyah! Who doesn’t love the Office? You don’t, well screw you, the Office rules!
And I’m really glad the writers will start getting paid when I watch one of their episodes from the network’s website.

I’ve been wondering about if blinds would help with our one-way mirror in the video booth. The glass works perfectly when there’s not much light, but when we open a door or turn the lights up at all you can see inside. I was considering looking at getting some Blinds that we could use when we needed to turn the lights on, that way it doesn’t distract people, and also so they can’t see us. What do you think? Should I give into the paranoia and get some blinds, or just leave the lights off?

Some people may know that I’ve been working on starting a business for the past few months. I’ve always wanted to start a business, and I’ve had just about a billion ideas for businesses. I still have a million ideas for other businesses, but I have made the first steps to starting a business that I think should do pretty well. All I will mention about the type of business right now is that it deals with video production.
I’ve already submitted the fictitious name paperwork so that I can legally use the business name to do things. I’ve also got my EIN. One thing I am still looking into is a business license / sales tax license. Apparently in Woodland Park you have to purchase a sales tax license to do business whether you sell actual products or not. I think this is kind of stupid, but Woodland Park likes to be stupid about pretty much everything they do. The sales tax license is $50 per year.
I’m also working on fixing up the business website. It looks OK now, but I want a real design made for it. I am either going to do that myself or hire somebody to do it. So if you do website design, let me know and maybe we can do business together. I’m also working on finalizing what I want the logo to look like and then will be making brochures and business cards.
Overall with the actual time I’ve been able to spend on this with the crazy work I have been doing, I think I’m doing a pretty good job. One of my friends will actually be partnering for me in this business, though we won’t be forming an actual partnership because he is not 18.
I’m pretty excited about this business and I anticipate it doing very well. I’ve always been taught to do the best at what you do. Whether it’s cleaning toilets or building airplanes. You should do your best. I plan on doing that with this business, and using the profits to start additional businesses.

Finding the right company to repair your computer can be a nightmare. Everybody has heard the horror stories that happen when you take your computer to big box companies. Usually their techs aren’t trained to fix your computer, just sell you stuff. That’s why I always recommend finding either a local company, or a company that specializes in computer repair. Not one that just has to make the money. Fast-Teks is one of those companies that I would recommend. They specialize in computer repair and have many locations nationwide. They also provide on-site services so you don’t have to worry about taking your computer to them.
