Doing the Dew, Old School Style
Russ - Posted on Thursday, May 29th 2008
I was planning on putting in my 2 weeks notice yesterday, but I’m going to do it tomorrow (because tomorrow is a payday, so 2 weeks til the next one). But I am doing it for sure. Working at IT’Z has been pretty awesome, but it’s just not for me. It’s not what I want to do for the rest of my life even if I made it to being a manager. Plus it’s really boring standing there for hours trying to get them to give me something to work on. Then it also just doesn’t pay the greatest.
In other news, I’m back on schedule working on all the computer repair stuff. I’m working on the website, which will be a major part of the business. I’m also working on marketing materials (brochures, business cards, etc). I haven’t got the pricing down yet but I plan on going over that soon. Cory, if you see this call me.

I have this feeling that you’ll do pretty well in the computer repair biz, but one day you might end up missing the relatively easy life you had at this job.
So I was doing some thinking at work today about the Russia-Jupiter war of ‘05, and I thought of a name: “Red Storm”. It refers to both the Ruskies and the red spot on Jupiter. It’s also alludes to Red Dawn, hell yes!
Anyway, I’m getting some ideas, let’s write the story and make awsomeness!
That sounds good. I found out that you would call somebody from jupiter a Jovian (Like it’s moons are jovian moons)
Writing would definitely be great. They’ve got me scheduled like crazy these last 2 weeks I’m there, but my last day is the 13th, and I always have saturdays off.
Thats how i felt on my job in the springs. I just stood around waiting for a task and then my manager would yell at me because i wasnt doing anything, yet there was nothing to be done. So i killed him and put in my resignation. But now i work the perfect cover up for “explosive engineer” ahaha
