My name is Russell Petrick. I was born in 1986 near Fresno in California. I lived there for 9 years, the later years spent in the foothills on a huge property with surrounding ranches. I moved to Colorado Springs after that with my parents, and eventually up to Woodland Park, Colorado.

I went to Woodland Park High School for all four years. I was in programming classes, really liked the business classes, took catering and it was awesome, and also an art class. I went to one semester of college after high school, but did not really know what I wanted to do, so I did not continue.

After that semester I joined the Navy. I got an 86 on the ASVAB (out of 99). The ASVAB is a test designed to be completed in 2-3 hours. I finished it in almost no time without studying at all. I chose the Fire Control field and went into basic training in January of 2005. Unfortunately halfway through basic training I received a medical discharge and was sent home. My recruiter was also a scheming, twisted person that was kicked out of recruiting a couple of weeks after he signed me up.

After that I worked a few odd things, and then started working for Valcom LPS in Woodland Park Colorado. I was the lead computer technician, and added website design, sales, etc to my skills. I worked there for 2 years and then quit. I quit mostly because I was getting paid crap there, but also because I needed to go to school.

Since I quit I went back to Pikes Peak Community College for numerous classes. I love TV and video work so I am taking a few TV production classes. I’m also taking business classes so I can better understand business, and use that knowledge to start my own businesses.

I now work for one of my favorite companies in the World, HostDime / Surpass Hosting. I work as a remote Server Analyst (as I’m nowhere near Orlando) and have great fun and joy in my job. Making movies is definitely one of my passions. I started a video production company, and along with a couple of friends we’re gearing up to do TV commercials, short films, corporate videos, wedding videos, you name it. I’m still doing computer work as well. I have an extreme amount of talent with computers, and I am putting that talent to work. I have started a computer repair company to service small business and home users in the Colorado Springs area. Check out PC Squadron if you need any computer work.

I also am a heavy Mountain Dew drinker. I am highly addicted to caffeine, along with being somewhat immune to it’s effect after having so much of it in my system all the time. That’s all I am going to write here, because any longer and it would have to be called an autobiography, and there’s no way I could give that away for free!
