It was rumored to be coming, and I’m glad it’s actually true. LucasArts just announced Star Wars: The Old Republic, an MMO set in the KOTOR universe. It will be heavily ’story based’ and allow players to have ‘companion characters’ with them along their journey. Check out the website and some screenshots.

I really, really hope that this one isn’t as horribly ruined as Star Wars Galaxies was. Hopefully they’ll learn that KOTOR worked for a reason, and stick to making it the way KOTOR was. The graphics are a little… unimpressive though.

Spore comes out in September and I can’t wait. This is a game that is pretty much creating a whole new genre of gaming. I’m sure I’ll be playing Spore nonstop for a week when it is released. They just released some pictures and more information about the creature stage in spore. Check it out on Wired.

The Ctrl Alt Del comic today is awesome. Gears of War had a chainsaw on the fracking gun. How do you top that?

I am so happy! I saw that Spore is definitely going to happen. No vapourware for them, they’ve already got a working game, now they’re just tweaking bugs and adding content! Spore will probably land in my top 10 favorite games of all time. It’s a whole new genre of game, that lets you do and make anything you want. Check out the 5 page review of the hands on preview that some guys wrote after playing the working game. There is also a set release date of September 7th. That’s not too far away!

I also just saw that BioWare may be working on a new KOTOR RPG. This would be in addition to the rumored MMO they are working on. Sweet! KOTOR is for sure in my top 10 now, and they would do an insane awesome job at it!

I have realized that I just don’t mention Mountain Dew enough here. Being the Mountain Dew Knight you would think that I would be the expert of all things Dew. Well, I am. I just don’t write about it enough. I used be be on the first page of Yahoo for Mountain Dew searches, but not I’m like position 30. This needs to change!

I am going to dedicate more time to writing about Mountain Dew. Everything from where to get it in third world countries that don’t sell it, to how to maximize your intake of Dew. This will be the all-encompassing source for everything Mountain Dew.

My first post is on the subject of why the official Mountain Dew website sucks so much. They try too hard to make it cool and hip. Plus it’s all in flash, and flash sucks. That’s not what Mountain Dew is about. If anything, it’s about gaming. It is what fuels gamers every day across the world. Mountain Dew has the highest headshot count and k/d ratio. But Dew is much more simple than that. Dew is Dew. That’s what you need to know.
