New video released on Broken Fork: TOP 7 Action News - Coming to you at the speed of now!

This week Nate Poster and Cory Ography report to you on a jellyfish attack in Brazil, the TOP Valentines Banquet, and shopping deals for the 2008 Christmas Season.

TOP 7 Action News is a weekly comedy newscast created for the Chosen Generation Youth Ministry of Tabernacle of Praise Ministries Church located in Colorado Springs, CO.

So it’s 2008. That’s crazy man. This year is going to be so busy. There are so many things planned and I am involved in so many projects. I am trying to actually start and/or finish all of those projects right now.

We’ve got an awesome new video series that we’re doing. It’s actually for our youth group, but we do plan on putting it online. I’ll make a post when we do actually get it online. The shooting is finished except for a 30 second segment, and I’ve pretty much edited it all together. I only have a few graphics to make and then it will be finished.

Seriously, why doesn’t Woodland Park have a Denny’s? I get some of my best ideas at Denny’s at 3 AM, but we don’t have one. We don’t even have an Ihop, or any other 24 hour restaurant. What are the night people like me supposed to do?

Denny’s corporate: If you are reading this, give Woodland Park, Colorado a Denny’s! We just got a Wal Mart, we have a KFC coming, we have tons of other businesses, and I will be there NONSTOP!

There are so many restaurants and businesses that we need up there, and less of the stupid, stuck up stores (like Ben Franklin’s). I wish I was in charge of this town.

I’m not very good at snowboarding or skiing, even though I’ve lived in Colorado for over 12 years now. I’ve always seemed to be better on skis than on a snowboard and I’ve been wanting to try going out again to the slopes. I don’t have enough money right now, but maybe some time this season I can try my skills out again on some of those black diamonds.

Usually I would just pick up rental skis because I was just a kid, but just in case I end up picking it up I have been looking through some skis. We have a Christy Sports here in Colorado Springs, and I hear they are a great place to pick up ski gear. I was reading about the Rossignol skis they carry and I see a ton of great reviews about them. I’m going to check the online store a bit and maybe go in to Christy Sports get some more info about these Rossignol’s.

I so want to go to the world series. I said I would if the Rockies made it, and I’m trying to see if I can do it. Tickets go on sale Monday at 10 AM Mountain Time. Rockpile tickets are $65. I’m looking around to see if i can get the money together, it would be so great to go to a world series game if I could, it would be an amazing experience.

The Colorado Rockies have dominated so far in the post season. Sweeping the Phillies for the division championship, and now 2 games against the Diamondbacks. They were walked in for the lead in the 11th! They then proceeded to rock the Diamondbacks in the bottom of the 11th for another great win. By winning this game they are the first team since the 1976 Cincinnati Red’s to start their post season at 5-0. Rockies all the way to the World Series! Booyah!
