Doing the Dew, Old School Style

Woohoo! Halo 3 is almost here. The marketing is really starting to hit everywhere, and one bank has decided to get themselves a little profit off the Halo hype.

Showed up to work, but they ended up canceling. It’s snowing pretty crazy here. When it gets like this, the trees end up breaking and the power lines go down.

I ended up not sleeping. I don’t know why. I’ve been rambling on for the past hour about something to the TV. I really don’t think the TV is actually even listening to anything I am saying, or if it is, it just doesn’t care about any of my views. Either way, I don’t like the TV. I need more caffeine.
Games I am currently playing:
Crackdown: Yes, I did buy it for the Halo 3 beta, but I also played the demo beforehand. It is a very fun game… I tend to end up doing the craziest stuff in these open ended games, but also get bored by them very easily, and forget where I was in the story line. Crackdown is no different than the others.

Battlefield 2142: I love these types of games. I had Battlefield 2, but didn’t like it that much. I very much like BF2142. Even though I see a lot of hate for it, I think the Titan mode is pretty fun. Wars games are awesome. I play a lot of Delta Force, etc.

Games I’m waiting for, but wish I had my time machine back so I could play them now:
Command and Conquer 3 - Tiberian Wars: C&C Zero hour has filled the place in my gaming where Starcraft used to reside. Sure, Starcraft is fun, and they have awesome maps online, but it’s old man. C&C is a very fun RTS, and the demo of Tiberian Wars is awesome.

Spore: Ok, this is a huge open-ended game, with almost no story line, but it’s a revolutionary type of game. Completely user-generated content, everything created and animated by the computer as you create it, and no limit in sight. It will be a great game. It may only entertain me for a couple of weeks, but it will be worth it.

I was almost asleep earlier, but then I wanted to finish watching O Brother, Where Art Thou. I was planning on sleeping after that, but I ended up turning the computer back on ti listen to a quick bit of music. After that I went through my normal internet rounds, and threw on Being John Malkovich in the background. Now I’m up, and have more caffeine. I really don’t feel like sleeping anymore. Oh well.
Here’s a couple more pictures for you, since I’m bored, and you probably are too.
Crazy file server we built at work:

My desk, in a rather clean state:

On Saturday I went out driving on Rampart. Banshed in my little car all up in there. The mud was starting to wear off, so I had to muddy it up again. I think it just snowed a little bit more, maybe there will be more mud up there. I think I’ll maybe try to get a little sleep, and go up there today, take a few pictures, get more mud on the car. I’ll have to see what happens.

I found my picture being used against Fox News. It was the picture I took right after Saddam was hung, where Fox News had both an alive and dead picture, which I just didn’t understand, and kind of laughed when I saw it. Now it’s being used to “show the lies of Fox News” by republican bashers. I don’t understand democrats sometimes. I could go off here on everything, but then I’d end up writing a whole book about it. I believe we need to support our troops. I believe we need less laws, not more laws restricting freedoms. No, I’m not talking about the Patriot Act, I’m talking about these laws people are making restricting smoking and the like. Taxes should not be different percentages for the poor and rich. Everybody works for their money. There should be a flat tax of something like 10%. No matter how much you make, you pay the 10% of your income. Don’t punish and take from the people who make more money, they earned it. It’s not yours, you don’t get to take it.
Anyways, before I ramble on even more, here’s the picture they used.
